As part of our coverage of the “Global Faith Perspectives on Sexual and Gender Based Violence: Survivor, Practitioner, Faith Leader and Academic” parallel event at the United Nations’ 59th Commission on the Status of Women, we recorded video of the panel discussion from 12:30-2 p.m. Friday, March 13, 2015.

The purpose of this panel was to showcase varied perspectives on how faith groups can be mobilized to create powerful change at local and national levels to end sexual and gender based violence (SGBV), an immense challenge to implementing the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action.
